Jarrett Kelley

Founder & Director

Jarrett is a senior and nationally qualified debater with a distinguished record of competitive success, including four first-place finishes at regional tournaments and a semifinalist finish at the prestigious Florida Blue Key Tournament. Known for his consistency and excellence, he placed first at every regional tournament he competed in during the season. Academically, Jarrett has completed a year and a half of college coursework while still in high school and will graduate with honors, demonstrating exceptional discipline, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to excellence beyond his grade level.

Beyond competition, Jarrett serves as a Teen Attorney with Duval County Teen Court, where he advocates for youth participants in a real-world legal setting. He has also gained professional legal experience working at a law office, further strengthening his understanding of the legal system and his dedication to pursuing justice. As the founder of his school’s Youth in Politics club, Jarrett created a platform dedicated to educating students about government, encouraging civic engagement, and empowering young people to find their voice in the political process. This fall, Jarrett will attend Florida State University, majoring in History and Political Science on the pre-law track. He plans to pursue a career in law and public service, using his advocacy skills, leadership experience, and passion for justice to promote equity and create lasting change

Sohan Patel

Founder & Director

Sohan is an accomplished high school speaker and debater with success at the regional, state, and national levels. A rising senior and captain of his team, he is a three-time state champion and a national qualifier. His achievements reflect excellence in public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation. Throughout his career, Sohan has competed in a variety of speech and debate events, with major successes in Impromptu Speaking and Varsity Public Forum Debate, building a strong foundation in persuasive communication, quick thinking, and effective advocacy. Outside of debate, Sohan competes in Mock Trial and serves as his school’s Student Council President. He enjoys traveling and learning about cultures around world. In his free time, he is a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars, enjoys Star Wars, and likes listening to vinyl records.

As a team leader, Sohan is passionate about mentoring newer debaters and fostering a supportive yet competitive environment. He believes the skills gained through speech and debate, from clear communication to critical analysis, are essential for success in any field. With a deep interest in law and public service, he is committed to helping students build confidence, sharpen their communication skills, and find their voice through speech and debate.

Isaac Caccam

Director

Isaac is a rising junior and an accomplished speaker and debater with multiple first place regional wins in extemporaneous debate, Legislative Debate, and Informative speaking, as well as being a national qualifier for Public Forum. With a history of success in public speaking and multiple leadership roles as an officer in his school’s debate team, he’s demonstrated great affluence in logical reasoning and leadership.

Besides competing, Isaac is keen on sharing his passions and being able to mentor rising speakers. He’s the founder of his school’s origami club where they participate in school spirit activities and he teaches a once-a-month seminar on origami. He believes teaching others is the best way to develop clear speaking and commutative abilities and organizational skills, as well as the confidence to carry those out into the real world. With that interest in mind, he plans to pursue a career in medicine, with an emphasis on advocating for underserved populations in the healthcare world.
